Early Intervention

Dear Community Partners,

We are excited to share information about the Masters Degree Program in Early Intervention -- Autism Specialization at the University of Pittsburgh.  Our program prepares graduate-level students to work with young children with autism and other delays/disabilities.  Next year’s program offers new courses that focus on technology-based interventions, early social-communication strategies, and more!

Through a grant with the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs, we will be awarding 10 partial full or part-time scholarships on a competitive basis for a Fall 2013 start date.  If you know of anyone who would be interested in taking advantage of this unique opportunity, please share this information.  Please check out the attached flyer to find out more about the program and the scholarships, and feel free to forward it to other groups.

A program information session will be held on January 25, 2013.  All are welcome!  We will send out additional details about the session closer to this date.  Until then, please direct questions to Diana Knoll ( or Sue Killmeyer  (; 412-400-1606).

Best wishes from all of us,

The Early Intervention Autism Specialization Program at the University of Pittsburgh
